Are your sunsets lacklustre? Do your evening shots need a little more fire? No problem. Tim Shelbourne has developed this action in order to create blazing skies in Photoshop. Key to the technique this action runs through is the use of the Colour Balance command via an Adjustment Layer. This controls the temperature and intensity of colours in the Shadows, Midtones and Highlights throughout the image. The Colour Range selection command ensures that true black silhouettes are maintained.

Fine tune the strength of the adjustments by adjusting the Opacity of the Colour Balance Adjustment Layer in the Layers palette.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD
To use our actions, follow these simple steps:

1. Make sure that you have Photoshop installed (you can download a trial from www.adobe.co.uk)
2. Select the action set or action you’d like to install.
3. Drag the action to your desktop or save it to a selected destination on your hard drive.
4. Within Photoshop, go to Window>Actions to reveal the Actions palette.
5. Click the Load Actions option, follow the prompts to locate the actions and click OK.

The actions are now ready to use.
