The G6 looks like it should be a terrific camera, but although the image quality is great and the specifications are impressive, not enough has been done to bring the camera’s responsiveness and controls up to date. It’s perfectly satisfactory if you’ve got time on your hands, but not when you want to shoot in a hurry.
