The Pro 1 is a class act that's certainly a credible alternative to the similar-priced EOS 350D SLR. Despite its tough build and serious looks, it's surprisingly small, fitting snugly into your hand. It produces balanced images, with good colour and no noticeable chromatic aberration, but noise can be seen above ISO100.
