The Digimax A5 packs quite a bit into that silvery plastic casing, though there’s nothing that other similarly priced cameras don’t have. The emphasis on manual controls is to be applauded but they’re too complicated for a beginner to use. Image quality is good but unexceptional. A sound budget choice.
