Video – Priming for print 2 – Levels

In this video lesson, Ali Jennings walks you through one of the first stages in priming a picture ready for print. Here you’ll find out how to correct a colour cast using the Levels dialogue to set the black and white points in an image. You’ll then learn how to give a flat image more punch. This lesson follows on from the Priming for print 1 – Intro video. In this video you’ll learn how to:
Get a more natural looking image
Use a Levels Adjustment Layer
Get punchier shots using the histogram

HOW TO DOWNLOAD:

PC USERS:
Before you start the download please make sure you have the proper software installed to extract ZIP files (WinZip for example). Download the ZIP file to your hard drive, extract the zip file to your preferred directory using your own file extract software. To watch the video, open the folder and double click on PLAYER.html. To help you archive all folders are named in the same fashion: 'Video on demand', followed by the title of the tutorial.

MAC USERS:
Download the ZIP files to your desktop. Double click on the folder and the files will automatically be extracted and placed in a normal folder with the same name on the desktop. Next, place this folder in your preferred directory. To watch the video, open the folder and double click on PLAYER.html. To help you archive all folders are named in the same fashion: 'Video on demand', followed by the title of the tutorial.
