Given its snapshot camera appearance, the 4800’s performance is a pleasant surprise. Despite the somewhat limited four-megapixel resolution, the macro test shots we took display an impressive amount of detail thanks to the excellent optics. Pictures are punchy and lifelike without being over-cooked. Impressive!
